Spicy shrimp tacos with delectably creamy garlic cilantro lime slaw topped with avocado and Cotija cheese.
Prepare garlic lime slaw sauce by blending sauce ingredients in a food processor or blender until smooth. Add water to thin, if needed.
Toss sauce with the cabbage. Extra sauce can be used to top tacos.
Pat shrimp dry and toss with spice mix in a bowl until fully coated. Heat a drizzle of oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add the shrimp to the pan and sauce for around 5 to 8 minutes. Cook shrimp all the way through.
Assemble tacos atop Sonora Soft Taco Tortillas by layering smashed avocado, shrimp and slaw. Finish with Cotija cheese and lime wedges and any extra sauce.
