It’s the no processed cheese cheese dip – Queso Blanco. Here’s a simple recipe that you can make in just 15 minutes! Perfect for dipping or pouring all over your favourite Mexican foods or non-Mexican foods.

 10 oz Cacique Asadero Cheese or Cacique Queso Quesadilla Cheese Only use Cacique cheese in rounds. Do not use shredded cheese.
 ¾ cup Half & Half (or Milk)
 2 Garlic ClovesMinced
 4 ½ oz Green ChilesChopped (Canned works fine)
 ¼ cup JalapenosChopped
 2 Vine Ripe TomatoesDiced
 ¼ cup CilantroChopped
 Tortilla Chips to Serve

In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, add grated Asadero Mexican Cheese or Queso Quesadilla cheese.

Stir in ¾ cup milk. Whisk until cheese sauce is melted and smooth.
NOTE: sauce may be lumpy until heated and melted. If it does not melt, turn up the heat, whisk, and add a splash of milk until it is smooth.

Stir in chopped green chiles, chopped jalapenos, diced tomatoes, and cilantro.

Pour into serving bowl and serve with tortilla chips or serve over your favourite Mexican dishes.
