In a food processor or blender, combine black beans, Serrano pepper, garlic, green onion, cilantro, lime juice, garlic, cumin, salt and pepper. Add water in small amounts to adjust consistency as needed.
Transfer mixture to bowl and refrigerate until ready to serve.
